Normal Working and Installation Conditions

1. Altitude: The installation site shall not exceed 2000m above sea level.
2. Ambient Temperature:
   • Upper limit: +40°C
   • Lower limit: -5°C
   • Average temperature within 24 hours: +35°C
   • For environments outside this range, consult the manufacturer.
3. Installation Orientation:
   • Vertically installed with power terminals facing upwards and load terminals facing downwards.
   • Inclination angle between the installation surface and vertical surface: ±5° maximum.
4. Environmental Conditions:
   • No abnormal vibration or impact.
   • Pollution level: Level 3 .
5. Fixation Method: Screw installation.

Structural Features and Working Principles

Star-Delta Start:

• When the control coil is energized with a 220V control voltage , the main contactor closes, forming a star circuit with the star contactor.
• The motor starts running at reduced voltage, minimizing inrush current and reducing stress on the motor windings.
• After the star running time (adjustable), the motor speed approaches normal operating speed. The main contactor then automatically disconnects the star circuit and simultaneously closes with the delta contactor, forming a delta circuit .
• The motor runs at full voltage, ensuring efficient operation.

Mechanical Emergency Start:

• In case of signal line or control line malfunction (e.g., in fire pump applications), the mechanical emergency start device can be used.
• This feature allows manual closure of the main and delta contactors, ensuring that critical systems like fire pumps can still operate during emergencies.
